In most forwarding offices the same shipment details get typed again and again: into Excel, into the bill of lading, into the invoice, and again into the accounts. CargoGen is built so you enter a job once and produce everything else from it. We build it alongside forwarders who use it for their daily work.

Background

Why we built it

Many forwarders keep shipments in Excel, do accounts in a separate package and run everything else over email and WhatsApp. That works while the office is small. It gets hard when volume grows, a second branch opens, or a new person joins and has to learn where everything is kept.

In CargoGen, each job has one page with everything about it: the parties, containers, bills of lading, customs entry, charges and invoices. You can see where the vessel is on a map, and what still needs doing on the job. New staff can open a job and see its full history without asking around.

How the product works

Each job is entered once

A job is created once in CargoGen. Its containers, charges, bills of lading, customs entry and tasks are all attached to it, so nobody has to copy details from one file to another.

Your team checks what the AI does

The AI fills in fields from documents and answers questions about your jobs. Data read from a document is shown to your team to check and confirm before it is saved. You can see how much AI you've used and how much is left this period.

You can see who did what

Tally syncs and generated documents are recorded with the time. Each company's data is kept separate, and you can limit staff to the branch they work in.
